A rich, earthy base of deep burgundy and charcoal brown, accented by vibrant pops of saffron yellow, sage green, and soft rose pink. A central field of dense, interlocking diamond lozenges framed by a wide, floral-geometric border. The "running water" or "zigzag" white border provides a crisp, high-contrast transition between the field and the outer guard stripes. The use of traditional slit-weave techniques suggests a rural or nomadic origin.
Motifs:
The Diamond (Göz): The central repeating lozenges represent the "Eye" motif, intended to ward off the "evil eye" and protect the owner.
The Floral Border: The stylized flowers in the border often symbolize fertility and the hope for a "blooming" life or harvest.
Running Water (Su Yolu): The white zigzag line surrounding the field is a classic Anatolian motif representing water, signifying life, cleanliness, and the continuity of existence.
Deep Burgundy (Madder Root & Walnut Husk): This grounded, earthy base is achieved by blending Madder root with Walnut husks, creating a rich, multi-tonal red that is exceptionally light-stable.
Saffron Yellow (Wild Saffron/Weld): The vibrant highlights are dyed with Wild Saffron or Weld, yielding a sun-drenched gold that catches natural light beautifully in minimalist spaces.
Sage Green (Indigo over Yellow Flora): This organic green is a "double-dye" result—applying a light Natural Indigo bath over wool previously dyed with yellow-producing highland flowers.
Charcoal Brown (Oak Gall & Iron): The dark outlines are derived from Oak galls reacted with iron-rich spring water, providing a permanent, non-synthetic define to the diamond motifs.

Care Instructions
The Deep Clean: Every 2 to 5 years, have the rug professionally "wet-washed" by an Oriental rug specialist.
What to Avoid: Never steam clean or dry clean an Anatolian rug. The heat and chemicals will strip the natural oils from the wool, leaving it brittle and prone to shedding.
