This authentic Kutahya Cicim (Jejim) rug is a stunning example of 1980s Western Anatolian craftsmanship. Woven approximately 40 years ago, it features a rich, deep burgundy and plum ground decorated with intricate supplementary-weft embroidery.
The field is adorned with traditional tribal motifs, including the Koçboynuzu (Ram’s Horn) symbolizing masculinity and strength, and scattered Muska (Amulet) patterns intended to ward off the evil eye. The vibrant palette of forest green, golden yellow, and lavender highlights the meticulous detail of the flatweave technique. Its mid-size dimensions make it a versatile statement piece for both floor display and wall hanging.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
The Deep Clean: Every 2 to 5 years, have the rug professionally "wet-washed" by an Oriental rug specialist.
What to Avoid: Never steam clean or dry clean an Anatolian rug. The heat and chemicals will strip the natural oils from the wool, leaving it brittle and prone to shedding.
