A 30-year-old collector-grade textile from the Kayseri region. This Yahyalı piece is a sophisticated "town-weave," offering a higher knot density and more refined geometric-floral structure than typical village rugs. Its "wool-on-wool" construction ensures exceptional durability and a soft, heavy drape that anchors a room.

The field is saturated with Madder-red, framed by Natural Indigo and Mustard-gold borders. Visible abrash (natural color shifting) throughout the pile serves as a fingerprint of its organic, pre-industrial dyeing process.

Care Instructions

The Deep Clean: Every 2 to 5 years, have the rug professionally "wet-washed" by an Oriental rug specialist.

What to Avoid: Never steam clean or dry clean an Anatolian rug. The heat and chemicals will strip the natural oils from the wool, leaving it brittle and prone to shedding.
